Latest Projects
Andrew is currently working on sculpture design proposals for the Bowesfield roundabout in Stockton-on-Tees. The proposed sculptural installation 'Asterionella is inspired by colonies of freshwater plankton and will be built from copper coated steel. It is hoped that the scultures will be completed during 2008.
In 2008 and 2009 Andrew will be designing and installing artwork at the newly built Epping Primary School as part of Essex County Council's Genus Loci Project. As the Lead Artist Andrew will be an integral part of the design team for the new build school and he will propose designs that can be incorporated into the internal and external communal spaces.
In early September 2007 Andrew installed his latest sculpture called 'Organism' on the Top Promenade beside the Cliff Lift in Saltburn-by-the-Sea. The sculpture is based on a chain of Oceanic plankton called 'Diatoms' and it is constructed from cast steel with a bronze patina.
